Congratulations to our Competition Team!

Congratulations to the members of our Satori-ryu Budo Competition Team for your fine work at the Middle Tennessee Classic Martial Arts Tournament in Gallatin, TN. Our team is a co-operative effort between students from Broadway Family Karate and Lance England Martial Arts.

The members of our Competition Team have been working hard together to prepare for this tournament since August. For many, this was their first experience of martial arts competition. Below you will find a list of the team members from Broadway Family Karate:

DJ Petree: finished 4th in Empty-Hand Sparring, 4th in Padded Sword Sparring.

Jackson Weaver: finished 1st in Padded Sword Sparring, 2nd in Traditional Kata.

Leo Moyers: finished 2nd in Padded Sword Sparring, 4th in Empty-Hand Sparring.

Marilyn Osborne: finished 1st in Padded Sword Sparring, 1st in Flag Sparring, & 2nd in Weapons Kata.

Sarah McConnell: finished 1st in Weapons Kata, 2nd in Creative Weapons Kata.

Zackery Perkins: finished 1st in Padded Sword Sparring, 4th in Traditional Kata, 4th in Weapons Kata.
