Board Breaking for Puppies: Friday, May 17

We will be having a Board Breaking for Puppies Black Belt Community Service Project on the afternoon of Friday, May 17.  This has been organized by Mr. Troy Ellison & Mr. Jordan Ellison, as one of the parts of their promotion exam for 1st Dan.

We will host a Board Breaking Workshop in support of the Union County Humane Society.  This is open to Honors Students ages 6 and older.  For this special event, Tigers and Fundamentals students will also be allowed to participate.  With our Tigers and Fundamentals students, we will carefully go over board breaking basics, and then the student will have the option of trying their first board break.  No one will be required to attempt a break if they don’t feel ready for this.

Workshops will meet as follows:

3;30pm — Tigers (ages 4 & 5)

4:00pm — Juniors (ages 6-8)

5:00pm — Pre-Teens, Teens & Adults (ages 9 & up)

Regular lessons will not meet on Friday between 3:30pm to 6:15pm.  Leadership Team and Teen & Adult black Belt lessons will meet as scheduled starting at 6:15pm.
