The Satori-Ryu Hall of Fame Martial Arts Tournament will take place this Saturday, March 7, at the HPER building at the University of Tennessee.  Mr. Booker will be there to help officiate at the competition, so no lessons will meet on this Saturday at Broadway Family Karate.

At the tournament, there will be point sparring, padded sword sparring, patterns, and weapons kata competitions.  There will also be some very good martial arts demonstrations taking place, in addition to the competition.

Please stop in at the tournament on Saturday, and watch for a while.  You certainly don’t have to stay for the entire event.  You should find it both interesting and fun.

Lessons Meet Today, Thursday, March 5

Hope to see you in class!

We are currently under a Winter Weather Advisory through 4:00pm this evening.  We will make the decision about whether or not to open for lessons today by 2:00pm this afternoon, based on weather and road conditions at that time.  We will post this information on our facebook page, here on our website, and will also send it out promptly by e-mail.

We will make every effort to open for lessons on our normal schedule this afternoon and evening if at all possible.
