This week, we will be talking about Timing in terms of patience, and waiting until the time is right for something. Our in-class discussion lesson for this week follows below:
“Life is all about timing…the unreachable becomes the reachable, the unavailable becomes available, the unattainable…attainable. Have patience, wait it out — it’s all about timing.” — Stacey Charter
Think about something you really want to have or do. It could be a new video game, or even gaming system, or a visit to a friend’s house. Sometimes you may want these things so much, it can be hard to wait patiently for them to happen — but you may have to. You may need to save up your money before you can buy the latest video game. You might have to finish your homework or your chores before you can go visit your friend. When you can’t get something you want right away, you need to wait patiently for the right time — good things come to those who wait.
1) What is patience?
2) How do you feel if you can’t have what you want right away?
3) If you have to clean your room before you can go to Dollywood, should you wait and not do anything? Or is this something you can make happen?
